In order to overcome a certain form of rigidity and repetition imposed by the mesh technique, I wanted to work on a small series of sculptures where the forms would evolve with more freedom, favouring “letting go”. A way for me to regain a little spontaneity. Pop& co are small entities with explosive volumes and varied colours that represent a form of individuality, expressing each one’s freedom of “being”.
